Invitation to the German State Meeting 2014 from
May 29th– June 1st in Rastatt, Baden-Württemberg
Dear members, dear guests,
Gamma Chapter
cordially invites you to the beautiful baroque city of Rastatt near Baden –
Baden ( South – West Germany) to attend the state meeting. Rastatt is very easily accessible as Karlsruhe airport is
close by and it is served by ryan air. From Frankfurt Airport it is only a
90min train ride.
Rastatt is quite well known in Germany for its Baroque
Castle, built by the so-called “Türkenlouis” the Baden duke who defended the
Turkish outside Vienna. In the castle there is a very interesting exposition of
all the freedom movements in German history, which was
established in 1974 at the suggestion of the then Federal President Gustav W.
Heinemann. Apart from this, there are fine art museums and do not forget the
good restaurants and pubs that create dishes of the well-known Baden cuisine,
and, last but not least, serve the delicious Baden wines.
But Rastatt will also have something very special to offer at this particular weekend, namely the largest international street theater festival in Germany called tête – à –tête.
